This past week we were able to attend another event of the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival. This time, our own Silvina Moreno was performing with her full band.
Weather was not on our side, so rain location was around the corner from the usual spot. We were at The Gathering at Salem, which is actually some kind of worship hall. At one point in time, I guess it was a bank, as you can see in the photos from the large vault doors behind the stage area..
Even though it probably was not designed as a music venue, the acoustics were actually quite great and Silvina captured the hearts of the audience with her amazing stage presence and stories about Argentinean tango…..
Praying for great weather next time, but regardless we are sure to have another amazing show!
