Will Wells and Dynamic Sound perform Harborwalk Sounds: Berklee at the ICA

Will Wells is one of my overall favorite entertainers I have had the opportunity to hear over the years. He is very interested in putting on a great show for the musicians he is performing with and his audience. He has great stage presence and tunes that are interesting and catchy.

Sons of Daughters perform at Harborwalk Sounds: Berklee at the ICA

Sons of Daughters is made up of saxophonist Patrick Breiner, bassist Aaron Darrell and drummer Devin Drobka.  They perform ‘post-free’ music as Steve Lacy would call it, I believe.  Their sets today were comprised primarily of originals by the bandmates and some standards by Monk and Cherry.

Yesterday was my first full day of Summer in the City concerts in 2011.  Thursday shows start with an 11am soundcheck at the Kendall Square Concert Series and finish at 9pm after the last set at  Harborwalk Sounds at the ICA.
